The goal of our Uganda program is to improve the quality of life for children and reduce poverty levels in the districts of Kayunga, Mukono, Wakiso, Kampala and Mpigi, through support of basic education, health, capacity building, family income and increased food production.

Together with our local partners, we are:

  • Providing scholastic materials, school fees and uniforms to sponsored children
  • Holding quarterly meetings with parents and guardians
  • Providing health workshops for Village Health Workers
  • Providing health units with essential drugs
  • Providing health education and reproductive
    health seminars
  • Conducting health education home visits to sponsored families
  • Distributing mosquito nets
  • Providing nutritional supplements to children with HIV/AIDS at the
    Mulago Clinic
  • Providing family income planning
  • Providing agricultural workshops, better seeds, planting materials, chicken and hybrid livestock to farmers
  • Providing training to natural resource management committees
