DEBRA D. KERBY, M.Sc., MBA
President & CEO
Since taking on leadership of Canadian Feed The Children in 2010, Debra has led the agency on its journey to change – transforming the organization from charity to change agent, moving to a long-term sustainable approach to community development, and driving high standards of excellence in financial transparency and governance; all with the goal of making an increasingly significant and measurable impact in children’s lives.
Working in marketing and communications in the private sector (Warner Lambert, Labatt Breweries and Mariposa Communications) before following her true calling into international development and humanitarian work, Debra has travelled the globe building partnerships and leading change and innovation. Prior to joining CFTC, Debra was Executive Director-Strategic Partnerships and Chief Program and Policy Officer for Right To Play, working alongside the CEO and founder to set the foundation and deliver rapid organizational growth.
Debra holds an M.Sc. in International Development Management from the London School of Economics; an International MBA from the University of Edinburgh; and a B.A. from Queen’s University.

ANNE MARSHALL, CPA, CA
Chief Financial Officer / Chief Administrative Officer
Anne is a Chartered Accountant with a breadth of experience in finance and accounting. She has experience in change management, strategic planning, project management, process development and improvement, information technology and customer relations across a variety of industries. She brings an extensive background in both the profit and not-for-profit worlds to deliver financial leadership to CFTC.
Vice President, Development
Gail brings over 20 years of experience as a fundraising professional and 12 years of providing direct leadership in raising funds, managing teams, engaging philanthropists and working with senior volunteers and Board of Directors to her role as Vice President, Development at Canadian Feed The Children. Her international development experience includes senior roles with Save The Children Canada and World Vision. Gale has also spent time as a Senior Consultant with Blue North Strategies where she was the primary consultant working with World Vision U.S. supporting many departments to achieve their fundraising goals. She was highly involved in the creation of their For Every Child campaign which raised half a billion dollars in five years. Gail is interested in expanding her focus in the field of international development and being part of a strong team-based environment in the service of children.
Vice President, Communications
Jennifer brings 20 years of communications experience to her role as Director of Communications, with specializations in branding, product development, content and thought leadership marketing. She and her small-but-mighty team work collaboratively to spread the word about the vital work that we do and engage donors and the public in CFTC’s mission. Jennifer’s passion for ideas and innovation and her commitment to our vision and values is coupled with a strong background in both new and traditional media. Jennifer has degrees in English and Psychology from McMaster University and York University.
